Gli iberici (anche se sono una comunità ristretta) ci bagnano il naso in quanto ad iniziativa.
Ecco un progetto (al quale collaboro anch'io in veste di traduttore e di "tester")

Quanto prima sarà rilasciata una versione Beta2 con un editor di mazzi.

ma anche noi siam messi bene con il nostro di software, è così meglio il loro?
E comunque complimenti agli spagnoli, Mutant non muore davvero mai!

In che linguaggio è scritto?

As said by Aaron, "Portal is developed using Game Maker software. It works under its own programming language, GML (Game Maker Language) a mix of C, Delphi and Pascal".

Game Maker has a Mac version, so I think Portal could be ported, instead of using a virtual machine or any other stuff to be played on Mac.

Portal sarà realizzato solo in spagnolo, molto probabilmente.
Data la fredda accoglienza riservata dalla community, l'autore preferisce lavorare solo sulla versione iberica.

Well, i think the trouble is caused by something “external” to the EXE file of Portal. There are well knowns problems about trying to run windows´ applications under a mac´s virtual machine.

The first option that i suggest you: check if the virtual machine you are using, contains all the needed drivers. The error message you have posted seems to be a graphical requirements problem; so maybe the virtual machine is not working correctly, or it has an incorrect configuration in one or more aspects of itself (?)
In this meaning, tell me: have you tried any other virtual machine (or a different way) to run Portal?

Second solution: have you tried to create a partition of Windows XP in your computer? If the answer if yes, please, do it. If you don´t know how to install it, tell me what are your Mac´s specifications and i will help you.
This last option always results more stable (and safer) than any other, but i don´t know if you have tried it yet.
Keep in mind that the ambition of Portal is play against all-over-the-world players (surely “windows-players”).
I don´t know how would the game respond to a Mac OS-Windows information exchange, maybe it crashes!

Shortly, i will make a video of the Portal´s gameplay (recording my own desktop) to show you all the features included.

Yup, I think so I was just reporting that in case someone else wanted to try that.

I set the virtual machine to use the physical video card but it did not work.
I will see what I can do.

Well I think that I am not going to mess with my mac installing windows on it.
The virtual machine is the safest and cleanest way.
I bought a Mac because I did not want to use windows; installing it would be a contradiction

Oh i forgot to specify that I just used Virtual Box, I did not try any other virtual machine.

OK, it´s your choice, but keep in mind that i´m not going to start mac´s version of Portal until windows´will be finished...

If you make advances about virtual machine trouble please report me, i will look after another solutions.
