nell'altra discussione su Assorbimento Vitale c'è stata un po' di confusione. E poichè non ero convinto del risultato di tale discussione ho chiesto questo a Nate French:

Abilità Warmaster
"Dopo che Tekron Warmaster attacca e distrugge un’unità nemica, recuperi una delle tue carte comando @ usate."
In un attacco combinato se il mio Tekron (unità attiva) fallisce il bersagli e le unità di supporto distruggono l'unità nemica, posso usare l'abilità del Tekron?

Risposta:
The unit leading the attack is the unit that would get credit for the
"attack and destroy" ability with all the tacticians.

So in your example, you could use the Tekron Warmaster's ability to
retrieve a command card.

The counterpoint, then, is that if another unit is leading an attack
(say Alakhai the Cunning), and the Tekron Warmaster joins in with
combined fire, and Alakhai's dice miss but the Warmaster's destroy the
unit, Alakhai, because he's leading the attack, is still the figure
that gets credit for destroying the enemy piece, and the Warmaster
couldn't use his ability.

Quindi nel caso di Assorbimento Vitale, il Necromunt può usare la sua abilità anche se non ha colpito il bersaglio in un attacco combinato ma le altre unità infliggono danni.

Ottimo chiarimento.
Da notare anche che se una unità partecipa ad un attacco ocmbinato, non può utilizzare le proprie abilità speciali.

Quindi solo l'unità attiva che dichiara l'attacco usa le proprie abilità (indipendentemente dall'esito dei dadi)... OK
