Server is running with a x10 speed multiplier. And I think is one of the slowest games, lot of ogame clones run at x15 or x20.
Don't be stressed, now it's only a testing server, and it's so fast at the beginning. After 3 or 4 days you will see the game entering into a normalization phase. It's usual too to increasing the gathering range.

On the other side, since it is a not well-known game and with a very few users, I believe that I would get boring if we had to wait, say, a week before being able to mess around with the other players.
I was just wondering about that.

Sure, maybe you'll be bored, this game is designed as a massive game. The true action begins when 50 or 60 players join the game. But, as I said, this is a testing server.
If you like it, better upgrades could be done, even to host the game in a profesional server and announce it.

I played Ogame for some months, some years ago in Uni 11, doing HOF 20% with my moon and phalanx, mining, farming, being crashed... XD I reached a fleet of more than 1300 Battleships, 13000 light cruiser, 800 recyclers and so on; I consider myself pretty much an expert player. I stop playing when top 6 carshed my fleet after 48 hours of continuous spying (every 15 minutes) for understanding my fleet save...

I would like to test it, but first I have couple of questions:
1) Do you have permission from GameForge to do this?
2) Where do I have to register? Here?

I'm training a few soldiers right now at main planet, and upgrading the same time the barracks on the colonies with no problem. Maybe you had barracks or academy on queue on the main planet? It does the same restriction.

Where did you get that link? "xg" link is one of the other testing links, the right one is "mco", so you must register there

Check the Stats page (estadísticas), you'll see both Viktor and Chuca are allies from right now. The leader cannot take players into, so the players who want to join must send an invitation and the leader must check it and grant access.

Thanks, it is not a problem of payment, actually I was just asking if you were using GF engine without permission. But I understand that this is not the case, so no problem from my side. I will register and try it then, but I will not guarantee playing the same amount of time I did when I was addicted to Ogame...

Solved, I am in now.

I am Bauhaus player, using Firefox 3.6.3 on Ubuntu Lucid Lynx (kernel 2.6.31-21-generic) on an Intel chipset.

Bug: view in Firefox is not complete, without using full screen mode (F11) on Firefox, I can not display the latest menu (only until Lista de compañeros).

Hi all.

Due to some extrange behaviors on MCO database, new users cannot register. It's so curious two days ago I announced the web at a couple of forums, database starts to do things it should not do. With no modifications at the main code.
My server is quite disprotected, I told you is a homemade server (so "homemade", the server is my own computer) and it is said at forums that there's a lot of people with the one and only job of fxxx another projects.

The only way to resurrect it is backup the database 48 hours back (and lose the 48 hours with the more movements, attacks and develops). I've spent almost 1 month with MCO, and my job now keeps me a lot of time. So, I'll close the server to further order.
Thanks all you italian guys for testing MCO and report all bugs. You're great. I promise the server will be back (don't know the date) when people know better MC world, with a full english translation, and with a language file avaiable to be traslated for all who want it.

I cannot build new buildings "No hay espacio en el sector" and i don't see a way to destroy old buildings. How i can build more or substitute old buildings?

i have 100 poder points but no way to spend them, i already have all the especialitas, what can i do other than using 'banco'?

Paizo, the way to build more structures is to developing the terraformer.
But right now the server is closed.

MCO Cartel Edition will be launched on August.
