Mutant Chronicles IL FILM

Hi Fabio.
Jay is in cc: who can help you with some communication advise to fans. In general, they will always be looking for ad verbatim treatment, like fundamentalists read the bible. Of course a logo can be changed - real corporations do it all the time!
Cybertronic was left out because there is only so much you can show in a 90 minute movie. There will be a lot of other venues to explore the universe, we see the games, videogames, sequels and animation to complement the first movie and tell more. Cybertronic has a very different look than all other corporations and would require a lot of explanation. Besides, we are focusing on the origin story of the return of the Dark Legion.
I think that some diehard Mutant Chronicles purists will not like the movie, just like some people do not like that Peter jackson changed the timeline and details of LOTR. But we are trying to reach millions of new fans, and need to take certain liberties to attract them while being as faithful to the original concept as we can.
My personal belief, I may have told you, is that science fiction needs to be updated all the time to stay fresh and interesting because it reflects our contemporary times. Also visually, fashion trends will dictate more than people believe they do, the big shoulderpads would look very strange today for instance. Fantasy, on the other hand, satisfies peoples need of nostalgia, history, and familiar environments, a very traditional view.
First and foremost, we must make a good film which people will want to see. The action and overall feeling is very true to Mutant Chronicles, and I think most fans will agree when they see it.
Remember, Mutant Chronicles is a work in progress. Who knows which chronicle was right and which was wrong, in the future? The origin of the game started as Mutant, a game with furry creatures like a fable. Then we did Mutant 2, more hardcore and bionics. Then came Mutant 3, a cybermutant with no furries and a noir setting. After that, Mutant Rymd which was in the solar system, but too WH40K. In between, we designed Kult, and decided to take elements of that and mesh into a sci-fi setting, and came up with Mutant Chronicles. So, which specific setting is the TRUE setting?
As you know, there are many inconsistencies between Warzone, Doomtrooper, the RPG, etc. It is 15 years since we started creating Mutant Chronicles and we see a chance to start afresh. While the new RPG will not completely follow the movie, it will clean up a lot of the past errors.

Beh cmq bello avere questi update periodici!
