Hello Fabio,
I am just back from second unit shooting in Bray Studios for Mutant Chronicles. We shot battle scenes and it was very exciting. Bauhaus and Capitol are really fighting it out!!
We have more than one year of hard work before finishing the movie. I anticipate a spring 2008 release. Therefore, we have no promotional materials until next spring, and summer, for the movie.
I am pleased to tell you we have closed a novelization deal, details to be announced later.

MUTANT CHRONICLES NOVELIZATION BY RANDOM HOUSE
Random House has signed on to publish a movie novelization of the upcoming Mutant Chronicles film slated to release in the spring of 2008. Matt Forbeck (Knights of the Silver Dragon series) will write the adaptation based on the film’s spooky sci-fi/war script.
In addition to the classic property Paradox Entertainment controls all movie-related merchandising for Mutant Chronicles. Major categories are still open; discussions are pending for videogames, publishing, toys, collectibles etc.
Speriamo che la novelization (per chi non lo sapesse si tratta del romanzo basato sulla sceneggiatura) venga pubblicata anche in Italia...

Questo significa che anche le riprese della seconda unità sono terminate, e ora comincia la parte più grossa del lavoro, il montaggio con tutto il compositing digitale degli effetti speciali, e di lavoro ce n'è molto da fare.
E a marzo il primo VERO trailer del film...

Il film di Mutant Chronicles continua a non avere un distributore in Italia.
Onde evitare che finisca sul mercato home-video SENZA una distribuzione cinematografica, propongo una raccolta di firme da sottoporre alla Eagle Pictures (che non so perchè mi sembra la casa più indicata per il "nostro" film). Nel caso la nostra petizione non venga raccolta, la proporremmo ad un'altra casa di distribuzione.
Preparo al petizione e la metterò on-line domani.

No, tranquilli, il film è venduto in molti paesi (Gran Bretagna, Francia, Grecia, Giappone, Spagna, Belgio, Filippine, Taiwan) ma manca ancora in molti altri (Germania, su tutti).
Forse prima di fare una cosa del genere è d'uopo aspettare il primo VERO trailer del film, poi penso che il nome di John Malkovich farà il resto.
Nel caso non si abbia notizie da nessun distributore, allora si farà.
Siamo in contatto con la Voltage Pictures, che cura la vendita internazionale del film, appena avranno notizia di un distributore italiano lo faranno sapere.
