Visti entrambi... il primo era passabile, costruito abbastanza bene anche se naturalmente verteva sulla straficona di Milla Jovovic (davvero incredibile nel film! 
), ma il secondo beh... i personaggio di Jill Valentine (bellissima anche lei) era eccessivamente coatto. Entra in scena sparando nella stazione di polizia come un cecchino... già questo mi ha fatto venire il mal di stomaco (da ammazzare lo sceneggiatore!!! 
).
Sono film troppo centrati sugli effetti speciali... specialmente il secondo, che è privo anche dell'alone del mistero del primo (dove c'era il giochetto della perdita di memoria di lui e di lei, niente male).
Insomma, vedrò anche i successivi se li faranno, ma non potrò che aspettarmi dei sequel in fase calante purtroppo...

MUTANT CHRONICLES RISES FROM THE DEPTHS!
Simon has just spend the last five months shooting a teaser film for his next picture, MUTANT CHRONICLES. Produced by Edward R. Pressman, legendary Hollywood producer behind such films as The Crow, Wall Street and Das Bout, the film is a multi million pound sci fi picture which tells the story of the world being taken over by Mutated creatures.
"I wanted to get this teaser made to show everyone the style,mood and tone of the film. My aim was is to make a picture that is brutal, real and exciting. Saving Private Ryan with Mutants we all call it. The teaser film shows this and gives us just a hint of the world to come. It has the brutal feel of a Sam Peckinpah movie with a look that is both unique and distinctive" said Simon. "The film will be story based rather than replying on too much spectacle, much in the vein of Pitch Black or the first Terminator" said Simon.
Simon has been screening the seven minute film to studio heads in Hollywood whilst Ed Pressman completes the financing.
"Everyone has been blown away by the film" says Simon. We shot it for a very modest sum of about £30,000 using the very latest in digital technology. I hope to post it online soon."
Pre production is slated for just after Christmas. - negotiations are taking place to sign Thomas Jane to the project. "He is a fantastic actor, his performances are so real and so true. Exactly what we are after. He was fantastic in both the Punisher and also in Dream-catcher" says Simon.

Thomas Jane (Il Punitore, L'Acchiappasogni) ha il fisico giusto e la faccia giusta per fare Mitch Hunter, anche se forse era più duro Til Schweiger.
Ad ogni modo sembra che tutto sia tornato nelle mani della Pressman come produzione, con Simon Hunter, l'ultimo regista accreditato, alla regia.
Pensare che ho riguardato il sito non più tardi di due settimane fa...
Però aspettarei l'annuncio ufficiale della Paradox, che al momento sembra più impegnata con la pre-produzione del cartoon Conan: Red Nails, con Ron "HellBoy" Perlman alla voce, insieme a James Madsen e Mark "Luke Skywalker" Hamill.
Ad ogni modo sembra che tutto sia tornato nelle mani della Pressman come produzione, con Simon Hunter, l'ultimo regista accreditato, alla regia.
