A spokesperson for Fantasy Flight Games has confirmed to ICv2 that the Mutant Chronicles Collectible Miniatures Game has been delayed from its originally scheduled October release (see "Fantasy Flight Plans First CMG") until April, 2007. The reason for the delay is simply Fantasy Flight's determination to pull all the elements together to create the best-looking miniatures and make the best possible game.
Fantasy Flight plans to debut the game (with a major splash) at the GAMA trade show, which will be held in Las Vegas from April 23-27th next year.
IMO potrebbe essere ANCHE per fare una uscita contemporanea alla nuova edizione del GDR...

Questa è la risposta della FFG alla domanda se è vero che l'uscita del gioco di miniature è stata posticipata.
Dal tono della mail sembra che la FFG stia facendo le cose per bene.

Se può interessare, qualche playtester ha lasciato trapelare qualcosa sulle meccaniche. A quanto dicono, ci dovrebbero essere tre tipi di miniature: rame, argento e oro (sarebbe come dire comuni, non comuni e rare). Si possono schierare fino a 10 miniature per tipo, e la cosa interessante è la meccanica dei punti comando.
Ciascuna miniatura NON schierata (ripsetto alle 10 che si possono schierare come massimo) fornisce punti comando. Le rame valgono 1, le argento 2 e le oro 3, e quindi uno può schierare 30 miniature ma avere pochissimi punti comando, oppure scheirarne 10-15 e ritrovarsi con un sacco di punti
comando in più. Il meccanismo sembra interessante. Quello che mi lascia perplesso è l'aspetto "collezionabile" (ci sono 10 fazioni possibili non contando le tribù di Dark Eden...), cioè il terrore che per schierare 8 Chasseurs dovrò comprare 24 booster... ma ovviamente è solo un incubo!
Infine, a quanto pare gli starter set non saranno "casuali", ma conterranno miniature fisse, e saranno per due giocatori.
Un po' mi secca pure la scala in cui le hanno fatte... sarebbe stato bello utilizzarle per Warzone. In ogni caso dobbiamo aspettare aprile 2007 per vedere come sarà la cosa.
